It happened while trying to record Steam game in Ubuntu.
I decided to make an article on how to fix these, in case you run into the same issue. So let's start the race!.
How to Fix OBS Captures Static Image
Usually, users will open OBS, add Screen Capture (XSHM) as source, and click the Start Recording button. There's nothing wrong if you just need to capture screen to presentation.

The problems comes up if you when trying to record game sessions. For example, recording Steam a gameplay.
To solve this, you just need to use Window Capture (Xcomposite) instead of Screen Capture (XSHM) at the source panel. This was shared on my YouTube videos as shown :
Once added, you can disable or remove Screen Capture (XSHM) to eliminate lags during recording.
