Mising Launcher, Unity, Dash in Ubuntu
Now I'll tell you how to fix launcher not showing after login. This will reset everything and your Ubuntu system will looks like fresh install. Do not worry, an installed applications will keep hang in there.
Step 1 - When you're at login time, press Ctrl+Alt+F1 to access command line interface / text mode.
Step 2 - Now login with your username and password here. If you can not log in you can read our previous post 3 Ways To Fix Ubuntu Gets Stuck in Login Screen Loop.
Step 3 - Once logged in, type and run the following commands :
rm -rf ~/.config
Or this one ( You can change Documents/BackupCfg with path wherever you want) :
mv ~/.config Documents/Backupcfg
I recommend you to use the second to make backup and keep the configuration ( or may you just need rename .config ).
