How to Install Latest HPLIP 3.16.9
Step 1 - Get the HPLIP 3.16.9 package installer from Sourceforge
Step 2 - Open new terminal window then navigate to the Downloaded package, or simply :
- Open the Nautilus
- Then Right click
- Click at Open in Terminal
Step 3 - Give the installer permission to run
chmod +x hplip-*.run
Step 4 - Now run the HP Linux Imaging and Printing
./hplip-*.run
Step 5 - Follow the screen prompts guide
